In one of his lectures, AWAI co-founder Michael Masterson told his audience – mostly new and aspiring direct response copywriters – “I highly recommend you have children.” Copywriter John Forde also advised his readers to have children in a recent issue of his Copywriter’s Roundtable e-zine. Golfers should consider wearing ear-plugs to protect their hearing from the sound of thin-faced drivers at impact - that's the recommendation from doctors writing in the British Medical Journal to avoid possible hearing impairment through listening to the high decibel sound of hitting a golf ball.

While traipsing through the woods, or an adjacent fairway looking for your ball, you may give serious thought to taking golf swing instructions from someone who really understands the golf short game. Teaching the basic mechanics of the game is quite possible and sometimes even golf swing instructions can keep your ball out of the woods, but it is important to realize that if you are going to spend the money on lessons you should follow the instructor’s advice. If you ever heard someone compla
