A DUI is not a funny thing. Driving drunk is not a funny thing. But, seems like that recently Charles Barkley has brought the subject out in the open. Having spent a weekend in jail for a DUI conviction, Sir Charles talked on ESPN Radio today about being amazed that this was his first DUI considering the NBA lifestyle and drinking. Now, we find out that PGA Tour sophomore Dustin Johnson got a DUI. Johnson won the weather-shortened Pebble Beach event earlier this season. Shane Bacon poin

by Shane Bacon Filed under: PGA This is a story you don’t find a lot on the golf page of FanHouse. I had the pleasure of covering the Ryder Cup when it was played at Valderrama in Spain (Hey! Somebody had to go … ), and the lingering memory of that U.S. defeat was the spirit of Seve Ballesteros. The European captain single-handedly willed his team over the U.S. He was everywhere, roaming the course in a cart that seemed to be able to disappear on seventh hole and appear on the 12. His fight, his spirit, his strength brought the Europeans an easy win. I’ll never forget, too, the crowd che
