Mike, have you given thought to giving Gary Matthews Jr., a start against Lester, have you thought about that? MIKE SCIOSCIA: We have our lineup, we’ll announce it after workout, we’ll have it for you as soon as the work out is over. Yes, my days have been a little stressy lately. This blessed Tuesday – a perfect example. Visiting a non-member this morning, a usual 30 to 40 minute visit lasted almost 90 minutes. To be honest, after an hour, I usually run out of things to say on a visit. Keeping them to a half-hour to forty-five minutes, things seem to work just fine. But after that, I struggle to think of things to say. I talked about going to Shea Stadium last Thursday (great game, by the way), the train ride that night

Being a novice in Golf it does not deter me to write about this new Limited Edition Designer Tech Set released by Adams Golf, especially when it had a novel and benevolent idea attached to it. It sure is a game of patience and concentration, and ladies have it all! Not that I deny men from it but this is some thing that might not interest the rough gender. Coming to the point, this new limited edition is all about feeling chick even while having a swing. The new lineup of ultra-premium and easy

The Bramble Hill Golf Course at Fancourt is the latest edition to the range of golf courses at Fancourt. Bramble Hill Golf Course is the only one open to the public and thus a bit busier than the other golf courses at Fancourt. There are however, virtually no trees, making it possible for beginner golfers to also enjoy a round of golf without having to search for stray balls amongst trees. Bramble Hill Golf Cours

With winter around the corner and the nights drawing in, it’s hard to overcome the golfing blues, especially when the golf courses are so wet, windy and closed by the time you finish work. There are many symptoms to the golfing blues, the need to hold a club in your hands and practice your swing indoors, the need to clean your clubs to make them all spick and span for the next round, the need to watch re-runs of all the Golf Opens and of course evaluating your own game records in order to perf

TheGroundClub This is the first in a series of Sellsius giveaways. Fore play: Harvey Mackay in his book, Dig Your Well Before You’re Thirsty, wrote about the importance of a “thank you”. In the course of our business lives, there arise many opportunities to express our heartfelt thanks– a referral, a job, a recommendation, some advice or a helping hand. Real estate agents have traditionally given closing gifts in appreciation of their client’s business. Personally, I love the closing gift

News reaches us that following the initial proposals presented to the Ventnor Town Council back at the end of March, an official planning application has now been lodged with the Isle of Wight Council. This is the first stage of the £2.9 million development of Ventnor Golf Club, and we’re informed that the initial application is for three 30 metre WES wind turbines. The Ventnor Golf Club aims to be carbon free within the next three years and hopes that the installation of the turbines will co

Austad’s has always had a special place in our hearts for all folks at Ping.
