Concerned about the “stability and viability” of golf — yes, the game with exclusive clubs and prestine courses — U.S. Reps. Jim Gerlach, R-6th, and Heath Shuler, D-North Carolina, sent a letter to colleagues this week inviting them to join a new golf committee. “The sport of golf is more than just a favorite pastime of many Americans.
