Which club to use? Posted in Golf Tips 101 I am a relative newcomer to golf but I think I have managed to suss out which clubs to use for some yardages.I take (don't laugh) a 7 iron for 150 yards, an 8 for 130 yards etc, the problem I've got is which to take when the distance is between two eg 140 yards.Do I try to hit a 7 iron a bit softer or an 8 iron a bit harder? It has taken me until now to get the tempo of my swing right, I don't really know how to hit harder or softer..any advice from y
